- Sporting SI is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and was established in 1984.
- All members, except the coaching staff, are volunteers.
- Sporting SI is made up of approximately 375 players and 1,125 members.
- The club has over 30 competitive travel soccer teams made up of boys and girls ages 9-18, as well as a Junior Academy League which is a development league for 5-9 year old boys and girls.
- Over 70 Sporting SI players in the last 5 years have gone on to play soccer at the collegiate level.
